Maintain all its records duly catalogued and indexed in a manner and
the form which facilities the right to information under this Act and
ensure that all records that are appropriate to be computerized are,
within a reasonable time and subject to availability of resources,
computerized and connected through a network all over the country on
different systems so that access to such records is facilitated.

We are maintaining all the records as per the ICAR system and we are
getting E – connectivity within a short period of time. So all the
records will be connected through the network as desired under RTI |

Every authority shall published within one hundred and twenty days
from the enactment of this Act,-

We are publishing the quarterly progress report and quarterly report
of monitorable target of the KVK Dimapur, and submitting to Host
institute and Zonal Project Director, Zonal Project Directorate,
Zone-III, ICAR Complex, Umiam, Meghalaya

Functions & duties of KVK
·
To, conduct trainings to upgrade the skill & knowledge among
farmers/farm-women, school-dropouts, & extension functionaries
·
To conduct FLDs on oil seeds, pulses & other agri & allied crops
including A.H

To conduct OFT
Other extension activities e.g. – Radio talk, field days etc.

As per the directions of the host institute i.e., ICAR Complex for NEH
Region as well as Zonal Project Director, Zonal Project Directorate,
Zone-III, ICAR Complex, Umiam, Meghalaya |

(iii)The procedure followed in the decision making process, including
channels of supervision and accountability; |
Before adoption of any village, Survey/ PRA/RRA are being done
followed by planning for annual action plan. Action plan is discussed
in SAC meeting before approval. When the plan is approved trainings,
OFT and demonstrations are being carried out as per the need of the
farmers. This is a team work and has been done after discussion among
PC, SMS, PA. Later on the Trainings, OFT & demonstrations are being
conducted by SMS and programme assistant. Trainings, OFT &
Demonstrations are being supervised by PC, SMS & Programme Assistant.

(iv) The norms set by it for the discharge of its functions; |
Selection of beneficiaries after PRA /RRA followed by preparation of
action plan which in turn results into trainings, OFT and
demonstrations |

(v) The rules, regulations, instructions, manuals and records, held by
it or under its control or used by its employees for discharging its
functions; |
As per the records are being maintained by each SMS and Programme
Assistant as per the guidance from Host institute as well as ZPD |

(vi) A statement of the categories of documents that are held by it or
under its control; |
The documents which are held under its control are Monthly, Quarterly,
Half yearly and Annual and other reports as desired by host institute
and ZPD |

(vii) The particulars of any agreement that exists for consultation
with, or representation by, the members of the public in relation to
the formulation of its policy or implementation thereof; |
So far no agreement exists with the public but on the request of the
farmers some felts need training or demonstrations are being conducted
in other non adopted villages also. |

(viii) A statement of the boards, councils, committees and other
bodies consisting of two or more persons constituted as its part for
the purpose of its advice, and as to whether meetings of those boards,
councils, committees and other bodies are open to the public, or the
minutes or such meetings are accessible for public; |
Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC) having all the district level
officers from Agri. and Allied departments, Govt. of Nagaland, farmer
representatives, NGO’s, Neighboring banks, KVK Staffs. SAC, held twice
in a year i.e., March- April and Sept. – Oct., chaired by the Director
of the host institute and Co- chaired by ZPD/ representative of ZPD.
The action plan of the KVK is being discussed in the meeting and
modifications are made for final approval in Zonal Workshop |

A pooled library with ICAR Complex for NEH Region, Nagaland Centre,
Jharnapani KVK is maintained for obtaining information. The library is
open during office hour’s i.e. 10 AM to 4 PM on all the working
days. |
